AWARENESS

  • IN AMERICA
  • IN CANADA /EUROPE
  • IN AFRICAN COUNTRIES

I am very grateful to Americans who donated their blood for research that will save many lives.  It is a gift of life that keeps on giving.  I am one of many who was lucky enough to get a second chance, because of their generosity

Our new initiative is to raise awareness in America, to encourage people to go to the doctor for a checkup, and to pay attention to their bodies. Perhaps most of us say we can't afford it; however, in every city and every state, there are free, government-run healthcare services for those Americans who want to be screened for breast cancer and other illnesses.

According to the American Cancer Society, the number one killer in the U.S. is lung cancer, followed by prostate cancer; unfortunately, there is still limited awareness.

Recently I started questioning many Americans about their healthcare practices.  Even those who are able to afford it don't like going to the doctor or hospital.  The typical answer was, “I am healthy.  I don't like going to the doctors office.”  Yet, how do you know you are healthy unless you get a checkup?

Our plan is to help Americans by having a Foundation chapter in every state. Anyone who is interested in working, please join us.  Tell us what your passion is, and we will accommodate you.  We all have reasons for participating and passionate interests that, when brought together, will ensure our successes.

You will meet people you would have never met otherwise.  You will have the opportunity to travel, and most importantly, you will save lives.

Africa is the last place to undergo business development.  Ethiopia is one of the fastest economically growing countries in the world, which most developed countries underestimate.  Corporations that work with us will have the first chance to travel to Ethiopia and assesses the endless opportunities for business in every sector.  It’s a cheap investment with a high return, which will open the door for open-minded businessman and women.  Sponsoring corporations can choose to dedicate a hospital wing or street which will be named after them.

We want to break and eliminate the illusion that, “We give money, but we don't see anything done in Africa.”  We want all sponsors - corporations, or individuals - to join us and see how your money is being spent.  Travel with us and see your investments at work.  We will make your travel arrangements through our partner travel agent.  For those who are curious to see the country, please come with us.  We would love to show you.

Many Ethiopians and other immigrants live in Canada, just as they do in Europe, where they have access to free medical benefits.

Recently, many Ethiopians are dying from cancer.  Most never received early checkups.  We would love to work with the Canadians, and all immigrants, to foster awareness.  We believe that having a Life’s Second Chance chapter in each country will make our work effective.  Each country or state will choose the type of cancer or disease they wish to focus on.

Like America, Europe has large numbers of immigrants from all over the world.  There are millions of Ethiopians throughout Europe where they have the advantage of free hospitalization.  They don’t have to worry about how they will pay for treatment.  Most immigrants and Europeans don't take advantage of these services to save their lives.  We believe that having a European chapter will help us reach people faster.  The Foundation is also registered in Amsterdam.  We need people who work with us there as well.

In developing countries, cancer kills more than twice the number of people than any infectious diseases.  There is not enough awareness, and there are too few facilities, so people die from simple illnesses that are easily curable.  Our mission is global, so we want to reach people who are interested in working globally with us.  Our plan is to make the future hospital an African center, so that every African can have access to medication, treatment, and education.  All international researchers and doctors can use their God-given talent and expertise to save lives and also provide Africans with  medical training.

In order to accomplish our mission, we need a chapter in each country and
people who have vision and talent to work with us.

To all volunteer students from high school to graduate school:  What is your passion?  We would love to have you join our organization.  You would get a chance to work with international students and volunteers.  It will provide you with a subject for your graduation work and will also give you great hands-on experience.

You will meet friends from many nations, and you will be exposed to a culture that you have never seen before.  Please join us.  Make your summer camp with us.  When you register as a volunteer, please tell us what you want to work on.

We work all year to raise funds for our mission.  Delegates will be chosen from each school.  We have ten thousand volunteer youth who will participate with you.  It doesn't matter where you come from or who you are.  If you want to work and make a different, come join our team.
